Is it really almost June? I finished the three yellow, green and blue baby blankets last week.
The only glitch was after I finished winding the warp on the back beam, I realized that one of the yarns I used wasn't all cotton - it was stretchier than the others. Fortunately, I left more space in between each blanket and it didn't seem to be a problem.

Can't go wrong with these colors for "baby". I'll bet they will be a big hit this fall at our craft sale.
Thanks. I hope so. It is fun to see how many "baby colors" I can put together and still look good. These did turn out nice.
These blankets look so soft and squishy. Wish I knew how you do it.... maybe some day!
They are very soft. I found that a cotton warp with a synthetic (acrylic/nylon, etc.) weft gives a very soft texture. They are woven in plain-weave (over one, under one), the most simple weave structure. Weaving does take some commitment because there is more equipment involved than say knitting, but I have seen beginners do fabulous things.
